Hello, my name is Sarah Gane. I am a senior copywriter, brand storyteller and marketing specialist based in Poole, Dorset. I work with advertising agencies and small business owners in and around Bournemouth, Bristol and London.
Before setting up as an independent freelancer, I spent 13 years working very hard as a journalist, Editor and Marketing Communications Manager for the creative and technology industries.
I managed projects and budgets, led teams of talented people, commissioned illustrations and features, wrote lots of decent content, styled photoshoots, redeveloped magazines and created completely new publications from scratch.
I’ve streamlined things a little since then. I now focus on what really counts: thoroughly enjoying the creative process, collaborating with nice people and doing good work.
I specialise in email newsletters, scripts, blog posts and SEO-friendly website copy. I am also great at defining tones of voice, writing press releases, creating multi-platform campaign content and long-form articles or interviews.
Outside of the day-to-day stuff, you’ll most likely find me spending time with my family in the forest and at the beach… or in the pottery studio making ceramics.
